MVJ Medical College and Research Hospital in Bangalore was founded in the year 2001 under the umbrella of Venkatesha Education Society. It is located in Hoskote a rural district of Bangalore, and is well connected to the city. The college is an ISO 9001:2008 Certified Institution.

The college is recognized by the Medical Council of India and is associated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences for conducting the medical undergraduate program leading to the award of MBBS degree.

The college is also permitted by MCI and RGUHS for post graduate degree courses in 12 disciplines, and Post Graduate Diploma Courses in 6 disciplines.
